Lightning Protection International Pty Ltd (known in the market as LPI®) is a fully owned Australian manu- facturer and supplier of direct strike lightning, surge & transient protection equipment and earthing solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the world. LPI’s head office and manufacturing facility is based in the Australian island state of Tasmania. LPI personnel have combined experience over many years in servicing customers throughout the world. Our experience covers projects in some of the most lightning prone areas. LPI personnel have vast experience in pro- viding direct strike area protection, surge and transient protection and earthing solutions. Our extensive expe- rience has involved risk management, system design, training, certification and installation and commissioning in key industry groups.

Certification
Lightning Protection International Pty Ltd operates a certified management system that complies with the requirements of AS/NZ ISO 9001:2002. This scope of certification encompasses the design, manufacture, assembly, sales, installation and commissioning of lightning and surge protection equipment and earthing materials.
Export Awards
As LPI has continued to grow it’s business globally, the company has been recognised within Australia for it’s outstanding export successes and has been awarded several prestigious Export Awards. During 2006 LPI was awarded the Tasmanian Manufacturers Export Award, as a winner of this category, LPI then went on to be announced the overall winner of the “Tasmanian Exporter of the Year”. The following year LPI was again recognised, this time winning a Business Award at the 2007 Tasmanian Export Awards. The success from 2006 and 2007 resulted in LPI representing the Island State of Tasmania at the Australian National Export Awards.
